Tour description

We start the tour from your hotel and take the Andrássy Avenue and drive to Heroes’ Square. We walk around the City Park and see the famous Széchenyi Thermal Bath, the Budapest Zoo and a fairytale castle (Vajdahunyad Vára). Next we take the Andrássy Avenue to downtown Pest passing by the Opera House and St Stephen’s Basilica. Next we drive over to the Buda side and stop in the Castle District. During a guided walk we show you the all the attractions of the area (Former Royal Palace, Old Town Hall, Matthias Church, Holy Trinity Column, Fisherman’s Bastion) and the hidden alleyways as well. Afterwards we drive to the Gellért Hill (Citadel) and show you the most spectacular view of Budapest. We drive back to Pest and stop at Central Market Hall, than we take the small boulevard and pass the Hungarian National Museum. We then get off the bus again and take an interior visit of the impressive neo-gothic House of Parliament (guided tour incl.). During the tour we offer a brief overview of the last 1000 years of Hungarian history. Lunch is not included the price, but we are pleased to make some recommendations and let you enough time to have a lunch break.
